1949年7月11日下午，春暖高增岳率领的先遣营秘密进入国军占领区，春暖拉开了西北决战的序幕。他们将在敌后连续行军140华里，炎热、干渴、随时可能出现的敌情，他们踏上的是一段艰难的征程。罗局镇，关中国军守备要点，也是高增岳部队的目的地。面对国军“羊拉屎”阵型的层层布防，他们能否成功穿插到位、夺取目标，将是此次战役成败的关键。在强家沟、罗局镇、眉县火车站构成的渭河以北一段狭长地域上，十余万国军部队拼死突围，企图夺回唯一的逃生道路。高增岳和他的战友们面对四面八方的危险，抵御着数倍于己的敌军。经过反复争夺，双方的焦点集中在了塬上台地高王寺战场上，在连续作战的疲惫与缺乏重武器支持的劣势中，高增岳毅然率部向国军永备工事展开了最后的进攻……

Guinean film director Thierno Souleymane Diallo goes on a barefoot road trip around his country to find the mythical 1953 film ‘Mouramani’ – the first Guinean film made by a local filmmaker. But it is not easy to find the film or anyone who has seen it for that matter. Some believe it is about the Islamisation of the Mandinka people. Others that it is about the relationship between a dog and its owner. Along the way, Diallo passes old, abandoned cinemas and dusty piles of moisture-damaged film reels. ‘The Cemetery of Cinema’ is a charming, cinematic adventure in which the journey is almost as important as the destination, and where the encounters along the way remind us of the importance of preserving a shared memory and culturel heritage.
