节目邀请15位艺人共同来到距离城市中心50公里的桃花坞(北京平谷)，搜寻死党通过21天的朝夕相处，搜寻死党记录艺人在生活、社交等各个方面的生活状态，真实生动地展现当代社会的群居生活面貌，探索新时代都市近郊美好群居生活的可能性。
