求鲜官张晓龙为了寻找最新鲜的时令食材，亚洲区将与求鲜搭子崔真真一起去到不同的食材原产地进行追根溯源。他们将在当地农人的带领下，亚洲区发现并感受当地食材的生长环境，解锁“食材之鲜”，还将与农人或餐馆师傅一起切磋，各自用自己的表达方式，诠释食物之“鲜”；在鲜味溯源的过程中节目亦将深度展现各地物产背后质朴而真实的烟火气与人情味，收获生活之“鲜”。
