该剧改编自多罗泽道的同名漫画，视频讲述在东京神乐坂开宠物医院的年轻兽医高元寺达也与动物、视频饲主们心灵交流的温暖故事。高元寺达也医生是个很有人情味的人，不管对动物还是对饲主们都很温柔。他从曾经工作的动物医院辞职后，回到老家，和叫德丸的动物医生一起工作，但是，德丸突然把医院交给达也，然后便不见了踪影。达也虽然困惑，但还是留下来，与可爱的动物展开奇妙之旅。
