日前，午夜曾凭借《殊途同归》获艾美奖的英国电视剧作家吉米·麦戈文宣布即将为BBC打造一部七集剧集《Banished》（暂译为【放逐之徒】）。小狼Russell Tovey 将与MyAnna Buring, Julian Rhind-Tutt和David Wenham等人一同出演这部剧集，午夜它讲述的是在18世纪的澳大利亚，一群被英国流放到此的罪犯的故事。一条来自BBC官方的简介形容道，这部剧讲述的是一群被流放的罪犯一同的生活，爱情，友谊和生存之战，以及那些在这一领地上监守统治着他们的士兵的故事。主演小狼Russell Tovey扮演的是男一号罪犯，剧中他将在到达流放地澳大利亚后努力地拼搏与奋斗，在另外一些罪犯协助下成为一名领导者，向人们传递理想主义信念，同时和残酷的军队少校产生了严峻的矛盾和冲突。这部剧将于2014年4月在澳大利亚开拍，预计明年初登陆BBC2台。
回复 :由于父亲涌井勇吉（寺尾聪 饰）长年被派驻国外，儿子涌井拓郎（二宫和也 饰）经常遭人欺负，叛逆之下，成为了飙车族的成员。在一次驾驶中，因和母亲（大竹忍 饰）发生争执导致车祸发生，母亲当场死亡。得知爱妻去世的消息，勇吉伤心不已，辞去了工作，在爱妻的故乡富野良的一个森林中开了一家叫做“森时计”的咖啡厅。而拓郎则由母亲生前好友朋子（余贵美子 饰）介绍到一家叫“皆空窑”的窑厂学习陶艺。勇吉对儿子心中怀有怨恨，而拓郎也自觉无颜见到父亲。二人虽然距离很近，2年间却没有任何联系。这样的关系被拓郎偶然结识的少女皆川梓（长泽雅美 饰）所打破，而梓正好又在森时计打工。森时计维系着勇吉对妻子的思念，也治愈着来此歇息的人群。同样的，也在无形中愈合着勇吉和拓郎的关系。温柔时刻，温暖人心。

A fugitive named Ben Hawkins finds refuge within a traveling carnival comprised of a tarot card reader and her catatonic/telekinetic mother, a blind mentalist, a bearded lady, and conjoined twins, amongst others. The carnival is owned by the mysterious and unseen Management, who has designs on the young Hawkins, for the boy is concealing an untapped gift: he can heal the lame and raise the dead--at a price. Ben also finds himself disturbed by cryptic and prophetic dreams, which he shares with a Methodist preacher in California, Brother Justin Crowe. Brother Justin, convinced by his dreams he is following God's will, has begun to practice his own extraordinary talents, although the preacher's plans increasingly lead to disturbing and tragic consequences. In this "last great age of magic," Ben Hawkins and Justin Crowe are moving toward a great conflict between Good and Evil, although it not yet clear on which sides these men will stand.
