“飞刀华”是杂术艺人华少杰的艺名，幼年父母双亡，由于受地主和他儿子牛耀祖的虐待而逃走，后被义胜班班主李中义收为义子，学得一手飞刀绝bbb。抗日战争胜利后牛摇身一变成了国民党侦缉处长，同时对华进行报复，李中义饮恨而死。解放前夕，华少杰与工人们围捕了特务牛耀祖。解放后，义胜班重新恢复。
