本剧改编自黑田忍乃的漫画，京都虽然描写的是弱者对前欺凌者进行劝善惩恶的故事，京都但并不是单纯的复仇故事，而是“爽快”的复仇娱乐。志田饰演因卑劣的同学们的恶意连锁而跌落谷底的主人公·灰原硝子，本乡奏多饰演对硝子的命运产生巨大影响的德道仁。
