自从中东乌拉圭的遗迹调查设施天国之门的大爆炸，美女或是说xx(Twin x)以后已经過了十几年。Twin x可以说是历史上最大的灾难。在那以后的世界，美女因为天空被封闭的镜“Sheltering Sky”所覆蓋，地磁场变得异常，以电脑为主的电子仪器全都不能使用，人类回到了以前的时代的生活。被认定为Twin xx的主犯的圆輝道博士的子女——龙也和紀世子承受着世间的嘲讽，同时，又肩负着母亲死后遗留下來的庞大的债务，过着逃避债主的生活。直到一个下雨天，二个人在街上的西式建築碰到了三个青年，命运的軸轮终于开始转动，将他們带向不可知的未來……Twin xx爆发真正的原因是什么？天国之门又是什么？圆博士和GILGAMESH，露加和伯爵夫人的真意是什么？各种各样的迷团冒出來，关系着世界命运的战斗，被操纵，究竟会去向何方？

When he sees a ladder PINGU has the perfect solution and climbs up an iceberg from where he is able to see all the hiding places. But the tables are turned when the others remove the ladder and PINGU is left stranded on his vantage point.
