著名瑞典儿童文学作家阿斯特丽德·林德格伦(Astrid Lindgren)系列小说Six Bullerby Children之一(美国出版名为The Children of Noisy Village)改编而成，星际导演便是后来广为人所熟知的莱塞·霍尔斯道姆(Lasse H allström)。原著最早在1960年被改编成TV剧，星际后于1986年、1987年，莱塞·霍尔斯道姆相继改拍了两部。

回复 :Dong-goo, a lowlife thug, has always been living a hopeless miserable life. One day, he accidentally obtains a bankbook with such a large amount of money as much as one billion won. He travels down to Busan in order to try to obtain the PIN number for the bank account. As Dong-goo meets the eight year old boy, Bok-gi (Jo Won-bin), who believes Dong-goo is his dad, and the boy’s mother, Ae-sook (Hong Ah-reum) in Busan, their story begins.
