周朝东年轻时嗜赌，老湿幸得好友韩江相助。江是盗窃国宝文物的，老湿他知道东是开锁专家，故利诱东。一日，东救了李月琴，被其妻误会。琴带东回家疗伤，东劝琴脱离伴舞生涯，二人成好友。但一次盗窃中东被捕，出狱后，他找江讨回所应得的一切，却被江中途伏击，幸得琴相救，且劝东检举江之罪行，令韩绳之于法。
